Body found in investigation in disappearance of Saint-Petersburg Legislation Assembly employee

The investigating bodies of the Northwestern Transport Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continue investigating a criminal case launched over disappearance of Sergey Terekhovsky, an employee with Saint-Petersburg Legislation Assembly.

Terekhovsky’s body has been found in the Neva river near Lieutenant Schmidt embankment in Saint-Petersburg. There are no injuries or other signs indicating violent death.

Saint-Petersburg Transport Investigations Department of the Northwestern Transport Investigations Directorate together with criminalists and a forensic medical expert have examined the scene. The body has been identified. Forensic medical and DNA tests have been set up and witnesses have been questioned. The investigation is ongoing.
