Today, Kazan Gymnastics Center in Tatarstan hosted the Second All-Russian Youth Judo Tournament for the Cup of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, dedicated to the memory of Zhenya Tabakov, Danil Sadykov and the employees of the Investigation Committee, who died in the line of duty.

Families of Investigative Committee employees killed in the line of duty, employees SC Russia, and families of holders of the Order of Courage (posthumously) Zhenya Tabakov, who was tragically killed while protecting his sister from the gunman, and Danil Sadykov, who saved a 9 -year-old boy at the cost of his life in May 2012.

The general management of the preparation and conduct of the competition is implemented by the Regional Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Judo Federation, the Committee on Children and Youth of the Kazan Election Committee.

The competition was attended by athletes born in 1996 - 1998’s, 14 teams from various regions of the Russian Federation. As a result, the team of the Republic of Tatarstan won first place, the Noginsk team took second place, and the team from Samara took third place. All winners received prizes.
