On May 9, 2014, the staff of the Volga Interregional Environmental Investigations directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation participated in the ceremonial laying of flowers at the memorial "Smolensk fraternal cemetery" in the city of Tver thus commemorating the victims of the Great Patriotic War.

The Smolensk burial had been opened in 2010 after extensive restoration. Today that place of memory and grief was the first among the places where people were gathering to commemorate the 69th Victory Day in the city of Tver.

The staff of the Investigations Directorate congratulated veterans attending the Smolensk fraternal grave and presented them with flowers.

Nobody is forgotten, nothing is forgotten!
