In Khabarovsk Territory check underway in light plane crash killing two

The Far Eastern Transport Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has launched a procedural check into a light plane crash in the Khabarovsk Territory.

According to initial information, early in the morning on 3 June 2014, the light plane, which had taken off from the Kalinka airfield in the city of Khabarovsk, crashed near the village of Novokamenka, Khabarovsk District, Khabarovsk Territory. Two were reported killed in the crash. They have not been identified yet.

Reportedly, it was a private plane.

An investigating team has set off for the crash scene to look into all the circumstances and find out the cause of the crash. A procedural decision will be made following the check.
