In Sverdlovsk Region two pre-investigating checks launched over media reports on stray dogs attacking small children

The number of regional media have posted reports that several occasions when stray dogs attacked small children happened in the cities of Yekaterinburg and Verkhnyaya Pyshma.

This way, the publication of a Yekaterinburg TV channel says that in late May 2014, a pack of stray dogs attacked a 10-year-boy tearing on his feet and an 8-year-old girl near a musical school in Denisov-Uralsky Street.

In addition, there is an Internet publication saying that near school No 3 in the town of Verkhnyaya Pyshma a dog attacked a physically-challenged child, but her mother protected her. It is reported that after attack the girl felt much worse, after the shock she developed complications of the masculoskeletal system.

Both reports are saying that no proper measures were taken by the authorized organizations to provide security of the citizens. Therefore, following the pre-investigating checks the bodies of the Investigative Committee will not only make a procedural decision concerning bodily harm caused to children, but will classify actions (omission) of certain officials.
