Investigation reopened in murder of Nefteyugansk mayor Vladimir Petukhov

Due to newly discovered facts it has been decided to reopen the investigation in the murder of Mayor of Nefteyugansk Vladimir Petukhov committed in 1998. According to some new information the investigators have, this and a number other serious crimes could have been ordered by Mikhail Khodorkovsky, CEO of UKOS. During the investigation, it is planned to identify the persons involved in the crimes by questioning witnesses and suspects, among which Mikhail Khodorkovsky will most likely be present. I think that his absence from Russia will not be an insurmountable obstacle for the investigation.
