On 2 October 2015, in the afternoon, paramedics delivered three 5-year-old girls from a kindergarten to a children’s hospital with signs of food poisoning. The Novosibirsk Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee are carrying out pre-investigative check into the incident.

The investigators have examined the premises of the kindergarten, where presumably the children could have taken an unidentified substance and got poisoned. Objects relevant for the investigation have been seized. At present the children are out of danger, they are in stable condition. One of the children was moved to the general ward.

The criminal investigation is expected to be opened shortly. In addition, the investigators are going to give legal assessment to the actions (omission) of the officials from among the management of the facility and the staff in charge of supervising the children.
