The Moscow Region Main Investigations Directorate has charged 4 police officers: an operative of Pushkinskoye police station for the town of Krasnoarmeysk of the Office of the Russian Ministry of the Interior Semyon Styopochkin, senior police officer of Pushkinsky Police Departmtne for Moscow Region Sergey Cherkasov, district police officer of Pushkinskoye police station for the town of Krasnoarmeysk Oleg Khrupov, police driver of Pushkinskoye police station for the town of Krasnoarmeysk Vladimir Udovik with a crime under paragraph “a” of part 3 of article 286 of the RF Penal Code (abuse of power).

According to investigators, on 15 August 2015, the four police officers beat a man and hit him several times on the head at the police station.

At present, investigative operations are ongoing to consolidate the evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
