"Fascists committed a lot of crimes in Kuban. Today we are investigating and establishing the facts of their atrocities against the civilian population committed during the Great Patriotic War. We pay tribute to the heroic defenders. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation does its utmost to prevent distortion of the truth about the Victory, attempts to falsify history must be severely suppressed", the head of the Committee stated.

"As long as we remember about our ancestors, the memories will live and we will be able to feel like descendants of the victorious people. Heirs of people with incredible fortitude and boundless love for the country. 76 years have passed, but we continue to install monuments. This is a small thing we can do to thank the fathers and grandfathers who gave their lives for a peaceful sky,” said Veniamin Kondratyev.
