The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia inspected the progress of renovation and construction works of the Saint Petersburg Academy and the agency's Cultural Center

As part of a working visit to Saint Petersburg, Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, held another operational meeting on the topic of the renovation and construction works of the Academy and the Cultural Center’s buildings of the agency.

The meeting was attended by the head of the Cultural Center and Assistant to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Maria Dmitrievna Krasnopeeva; Assistant to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Elena Yuryevna Garanina; Acting Rector of the Saint Petersburg Academy of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Tatyana Igorevna Rozovskaya; other department employees; as well as specialists from the Military Construction Complex of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. A.I. Bastrykin inspected the premises of the Saint Petersburg Academy buildings of the Investigative Committee of Russia and the Cultural Center located on the banks of the Moyka River, including the buildings designated for cultural and recreational activities, demonstration halls, faculty offices, and dormitory rooms for students. The head of the agency listened to reports on the completed renovation work, received an update on the restoration of the architectural ensemble, as well as an update on planned activities and their deadlines. It has been noted that the works are in their final stages. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia emphasized the importance of increasing the number of classrooms where students will master their disciplines and conduct practical sessions.

The head of the agency paid special attention to the fire safety of the premises and sufficient number of emergency exits.

At the end of the meeting, A.I. Bastrykin gave specific instructions for further work and set deadlines for their completion.
