Head and officials of Saint Petersburg Main Investigations Directorate commemorate those who died during Leningrad siege

On 27 January 2016, Head of the Saint Petersburg main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Klaus and officials of the Directorate took part in a solemn mourning ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers to the monument Motherland in Piskaryovskoye memorial cemetery in Saint Petersburg dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of raising the Leningrad siege.

On the same day, as the tradition of the Main Investigations Directorate goes, for patriotic education of its personnel, the senior officials of the Main Investigations Directorate and district divisions laid flowers and wreaths to the memorial Flower of Life which is the part of a memorial site set on the lines of battles for Leningrad, paying their respects to the children died during the siege.
