In Moscow three people accused in kidnapping sentenced to imprisonment

Investigating bodies of the Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia's Investigative Committee have opened a criminal case against three man aged from 28 to 32. They are accused in crime under items “a”, “d”, Part 2 of Article 125 of the RF Penal Code (kidnapping by a group of people in a preliminary conspiracy).

According to investigators, in the evening of August 4, 2016 on Alexander Nevsky street in the city of Moscow the accused used physical violence and kidnapped a 22-years-old man.  Against his will, the victim was dragged into a car in front of witnesses. The passers-by immediately contacted law enforcement bodies.

It was possible to arrest attackers thanks to investigating and search operations, professionally planned by investigators of the Main Directorate of the Russia's Investigative Committee and employees of Regional Budgetary Road and Patrol Service of State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of Northern administrative district of Moscow of Russian MIA General Administration for the city of Moscow.

At the moment all subjects of the criminal case were charged and sentenced to imprisonment. At present investigative operations are under way to gather and consolidate the evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
