In Krasnoyarsk territory leader of children camp arrested on suspect of sexual abuse of child

Krasnoyarsk Territory investigative bodies of the Russia's Investigative Committee have launched a criminal case over crime under paragraph "b", part 4 of article 132 of the RF Penal Code (sexual abuse of a person under 14 years).

According to investigators, on August 5, 2016 the Sokol recreation camp held festive events, timed to the end of camp session. Three camp leaders drank alcohol at their workplaces, then a 22-years-old camp leader entered the dormitory, where two girls of 10 and 12 years were at that moment. Taking advantage of the minors' helplessness, he committed sexual abuse of one of the girls. The girl actively opposed him, escaped and ran away.  After she immediately called her parents, who informed the camp director on the incident.

At the moment the suspect is taken into custody, the investigators request the court to arrest him. Camp leaders, who drank alcohol, were fired. Forensic and medical examination of the victim has been appointed, witnesses are being questioned. The investigation is ongoing. The investigative bodies will take all comprehensive measures to find out reasons and preconditions, that procured the crime.
