The Moscow Directorate of the Investigative Committee has opened an investigation in provision of unsafe services entailing grievous bodily harm under Part 2 of Article 238 of the RF Penal Code.

According to investigators, on 4 February 2017, during snow clearing on the roof of a block of flats in Palekhskaya street in Moscow a mound of snow fell on a pram with a 2-month-old baby inside. The baby was taken to a hospital and is now being examined and treated.

The investigators are examining the scene and are questioning witnesses. They are identifying employees of a building managing company and other persons responsible for cleaning snow from the roof of the said house. The investigation is ongoing.
