The Ryazan Region Office of the Investigative Committee has launch a check in media reports on a collision of a car and a passenger bus which claimed lives of two people and injured more than 20, including children.

According to preliminary information, a Lada Largus car collided with a passenger bus travelling from Moscow to Elista in Mikhailov District, Ryazan Region. Two people died in the accident – the driver and passenger of the car, more than 20 people were injured, including 6 children. All the injured got medical aid, according to preliminary data, the children suffered no major injuries.

Investigators of the regional investigative authority have been dispatched to the accident scene. All the circumstances of and reasons for the accident are being looked into. A procedural decision will be made following the check.
