Alexander Bastrykin requests a report on progress of assessment into violation of housing rights in Moscow

A federal channel reported that a family with children lost an apartment in Moscow after lending money from a microfinance organization. It was reported that the mother of the family borrowed 8 million rubles, but was requested to return over 30 million rubles. The woman was unable to pay and lost the apartment upon the court ruling. According to her, the contracts were drawn up by the microfinance organization in such a way to deliberately put the borrower in a hopeless situation. The Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia organized a pre-investigative probe into this matter.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed the head of the Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia to report on the results of the probe and put its progress under supervision of the Central Office of the Committee.
