In that, according to the grandmother, the parents improperly fulfill their parental duties while guardianship authorities of the district administration are aware of this situation but remain inactive. The Vladimir Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia is carrying out a probe.

Also a federal channel broadcast a story of Tyumen Region resident that had previously took custody of five children recognized as incapacitated, and then appropriated the funds of the wards in the amount of 4,400,000 rubles, withdrawing them from special accounts, and used them to build a house without giving the children a share in ownership. The Tyumen Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia is carrying out an assessment into this matter.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia requested a report on the progress of preliminary assessments and put them under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
