On October 18 in a kindergarten in Lipetsk, a child fell into the water during a lesson in the pool, after which he fell into a coma. Now he is in hospital. The Lipetsk Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia initiated criminal proceedings under Article 238 of the Criminal Code (provision of services that do not meet safety requirements). Investigators are clarifying the circumstances of the incident, interviewing witnesses and employees of the preschool institution.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia put the progress and results of the investigation under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia and instructed the acting head of the Lipetsk Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Muratov M.V. to report on the ongoing complex of investigative actions.
