The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia requests reports on the progress of investigation of probes into offenses committed in Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Region

In connection with the appeal of a member of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Construction Afanasyeva E.V., the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the Head of the Krasnodar Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Maslov A.K. to report on the investigation and evidence gathered in the criminal case of the murder of the head of the municipal district administration "Kushchevsky district" Boris Moskvich committed in January 2002.

The head of the Committee also instructed the head of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia, D. Kolesnikov, to report on the progress of the criminal investigation into Fyodor Streltsov. Streltsov, according to investigators, over several years committed economic and conventional crimes against entrepreneurs of the Krasnodar Territory and the Rostov region. The damage caused by their illegal activities to citizens amounted to more than 1 billion rubles. Streltsov is currently on the international wanted list.
