Two Criminal Cases Initiated on Shelling of Russian Federation Territories by Ukrainian Servicemen

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation continues to document and collect evidence on shelling of the Russian territory by the Ukrainian armed forces.
The investigators established that on February 27, 2022, at about 04:15, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, conducting military operations in the south-east of Ukraine, fired an indiscriminate weapon from the territory of Ukraine at a settlement in Dzhankoysky District of the Republic of Crimea in order to kill civilians.
On the same day, in the period from 09:00 to 11:20, two shells fired by the Ukrainian military from the Uragan multiple rocket launcher fell in an open area near Zelenaya Street in the village of Nekhoteyevka, Belgorod Oblast.
However, the criminal plans of Kyiv's death squads did not come to fruition, since the shells did not reach the borders of Russian settlements. There have been no civilian casualties and no damage.
Following these events, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation initiated two criminal cases under Part 3 of Article 30, Paragraphs A, F, G of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (attempted murder of two or more persons, by a group of persons by prior agreement, in a generally dangerous way).
