The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee instructs to submit a report on the situation with aggrieved depositors in Moscow

Mr. A.I. Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed Mr. A.A. Strizhov, Head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Moscow, to submit a report on the situation around the clients of the investment company who lost their money.

On the air of the federal TV channel there was an information, that an investment company offered quick earnings on the stock exchange to the residents of Moscow. Financial literacy courses were organized for citizens, where they were persuaded to invest in shares of large enterprises. At the same time, employees of the company showed people false graphs of the growth in the value of securities. However, having received the money, the representatives of the company stopped communicating. Hundreds of aggrieved depositors have reportedly been the victims, and the organizers of the alleged scam have yet to be held accountable.

Mr. A.I. Bastrykin instructed to identify all the circumstances of the incident and take appropriate response measures.
