The investigative bodies of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city of Moscow have launched a criminal case under Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the RF (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting in the victim's death by negligence).

According to the investigation, during the night of June 29, 2024, a conflict arose between the victim and a group of men in northwestern Moscow, during which the victim sustained bodily injuries in the form of a closed head injury. The victim died at the scene from the sustained injuries.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the city of Moscow, A.A. Strizhov, to submit a report on the progress of the criminal investigation and the established circumstances. The execution of the instruction has been placed under control of the central apparatus of the department.
