As part of the criminal case regarding the mass poisoning of Moscow residents, Karim Normatov, a citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan and a cook from the bean-producing company LLC "Savon-K" LLC, has been arrested. He has been charged with committing a crime under clause "a" of part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the RF (production, storage, transportation, or sale of goods and products, performance of work, or provision of services that do not meet safety requirements).

Investigative actions have been conducted with the suspect. It has been established that, on the instructions of the de facto head of "Savon-K," Vladimir Shin, Normatov, in violation of safety requirements when organizing public catering, prepared beans, packaged them in vacuum packaging for the purpose of subsequent storage and transportation to the warehouse of LocalKitchen LLC with minimal financial costs.

Today, the investigation intends to petition the Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow to impose a preventive measure involving deprivation of liberty for all four suspects in the criminal case.
