The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia will receive a report on the progress of the criminal case investigation into a traffic accident involving a bus in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

On July 8, 2024, the driver of a passenger bus traveling from the city of Krasnoyarsk, while overtaking a passing Kamaz truck, collided with it, causing both vehicles to veer off the road into a ditch. At the time of the accident, there were 17 passengers on the bus, including 7 minors. The injured were taken to medical facilities.

The investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia have launched a criminal case under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the RF (providing services that do not meet safety requirements for the life or health of consumers).

A.I. Bastrykin, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, has instructed A.L. Yeremin, the head of the Main Investigation Department for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia, to present a report on the progress of the criminal case investigation.
