Investigators and criminologists of Central Office of Investigative Committee moved out to Saratov Region

Today on the order of senior officials of the Russia’s Investigative Committee investigators of the main Investigations Directorate and criminologists of the Main Forensic Directorate of the Investigative Committee set off for Saratov Region to take in their proceedings a criminal case launched against a 16-year-old charged with murder (article 105 of the RF Criminal Code).

We remind that on 6 July 2013, the accused had a quarrel and then a brawl with a 20-year-old near the café Zolotaya Bochka (Golden Barrel) in the town of Pugachov. During the conflict the teenager stabbed his opponent many times in chest with the scalpel. Notwithstanding the medical aid the victim died at the hospital.

Investigators and criminologists of the Central Office of the Russia’s Investigative Committee are going to look carefully into the circumstances of the crime, including motives, causes and conditions that contributed to it and also reasons of mass protests of local people.
