Chairman of Russia’s Investigative Committee holds personal reception of citizens in Moscow

The Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has held a personal reception of citizens in Moscow. Alexander Bastrykin received 34 citizens of Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Arkhangelsk, Moscow, Bryansk, Vladimir, Vologda, Voronezh, Oryol, Novgorod, Samara Regions and Krasnoyarsk Territory, Republics of Bashkortostan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Kalmykia, Komi and Tatarstan.

The most of complaints addressed to Mr. Bastrykin during the personal reception concerned criminal cases in proceedings at the investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee. Most of them are cases over personal crimes.

During the reception, which took from 11:10 am 14 August 2013 to 1 am 15 August 2013, all citizens, who came at the Investigative Committee were received. Based on the results of the personal reception Mr. Bastrykin gave explicit orders to heads of a number of territorial investigating bodies. Progress of reviewing all accepted complaints and application is under personal control of the Chairman.
