The Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia completed the investigation of the criminal case against the former lawyer from the "St. Petersburg Naryshkins’ Bar Association" Stanislav Rogozhin accused of committing a crime under Part 4 of Article 159 of the RF Criminal Code (fraud).

According to investigators, in 2004-2007, Stanislav Rogozhin and Sagadat Khabirov, who held the position of Director General of " VO "Stankoimport" OAO (LLC), 100 % of the shares of which are owned by the Russian Federation, developed and implemented a plan to steal the property of this company by creating a fictitious monetary debt in the amount of 14.4 million euros and collecting a part of it in the amount of the 334.6 million rubles in favor of the Swiss company «SG Industrial Finance AG» controlled by them.

Due to the fact that Rogozhin is hiding from investigators and is on the international wanted list, the investigation against him has been completed and the criminal case with the approved indictment will be submitted to the court for consideration on the merits in the absence of the accused (in absentia) in the near future.

The investigation against Khabirov is ongoing, but investigators have information about his death in Israel.
