4th Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee (located in the city of Yekaterinburg) has concluded criminal investigation into traffic accident in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area involving a bus with children on board. Director of the Sibiryak Sports School Irina Tarasova is accused of negligence, leading to death of two or more persons under Part 3 of Article 293, the bus driver Marat Zaynulin and representative of an entrepreneur, who provided transportation, Rayil Sidoruk are accused oа providing services that do not meet safety requirements, leading to death of two or more persons under Part 3 of Article 238, as well as truck driver Rayil Sayitkhanov is accused of violation traffic rules and rules for operations of vehicles under Part 5 of Article 264 of the RF Penal Code.

Evidedence gathered by the Head Office of the Investigative Committee and a court are seen as sufficient to pronounce a sentence to former head of the Economical Safety and Counteraction to Corruption Department of the Ministry of the Interior Denis Sugrobov, as well as former heads and employees of that institution: Boris Kolesnikov, Salavat Mullayarov, Ivan Kosourov, Vitaly Cherednichenko, Evgeniy Shermanov, Sergei Borisovsky, Sergei Ponomaryov, Andrei Nazarov and a civilian Igor Skakunov. In dependence of their roles in the crimes, under Article 210, Item C, Part 3 of Article 286, Article 303, Article 304 of the RF Penal Code (organization and participation in criminal society, abuse of official powers, falsification of evidence and results of investigative operations, provocation of bribery). Sugrobov has been found guilty in 21 counts of crimes.

The Moscow Investigative Head Office of the Investigative Committee has concluded a criminal investigation against three former policemen of Moscow Police Department, as well as five accomplices that are not affiliated with state service. In dependence of their role in crimes under Part 4 of Article 159 (fraud, committed in exceptionally large amount), Parts 1, 2, 3 of Article 210 (organization of criminal society using official status and participation in that society), Part 6 of Article 290 (bribery committed in exceptionally large amount) and Part 3 of Article 303 of the RF Penal Code (falsification of evidence in a criminal case involving a major or especially major crime).
