The Astrakhan Region Office of the Investigative Committee has identified the men who killed traffic police officers on the night of 4 April. Investigative and search operations were conducted in cooperation with regional offices of the Interior Ministry and Federal Security Service. The suspects are named Nurbol Saspanov, from the settlement of Stepnoi, Krasny Yar District, Astrakhan Region, has previous convictions for a robbery; Ramzan Kukulayev from Krasny Yar District, Astrakhan Region; Ramzan Sultanmuradov from Gudermess District, Chechen Republic and Ilyas Magomedov from Lebashi District, Dagestan.

The Sebastopol Office of the Investigative Committee has finished criminal proceedings against 32 people, including residents of Simferopol, Sebastopol and citizens of Ukraine. Depending on the role of each one, they are charged with illegal gambling by an organized group making profit on a very large scale under Part 3, items “a” and “b” of Article 171.2 and organization of and membership in a criminal community under Parts 1 and 2 of Article 210 of the RF Penal Code.

The second rally of Investigative Committee’s cadets has been closed at the Lieutenant General of Justice Mikhail Yadrov school No 24 in the city of Stavropol. A rich four-day program allowed representatives from Moscow, Khabarovsk, Murmansk, Khimki, Stavropol, Kemerovo, Sebastopol, Saint Petersburg, Vologda and Novosibirsk which have schools with Investigative Committee’s cadet classes to share best practices in education, instilling moral qualities, patriotism and creative abilities. Special focus was made on the development of civic initiative and independence of cadets, higher role of building civic consciousness and instilling patriotism, motivation of cadets to master their future profession of investigator and to be ready to serve their country.

An opening ceremony of the second rally of Investigative Committee’s cadets has been held today in the city of Stavropol. The rally is being held at Lieutenant General of Justice Mikhail Yadrov school No 24 and gathered delegations of cadets from 10 cities of Russia (Moscow, Khabarovsk, Murmansk, Khimki, Stavropol, Kemerovo, Sebastopol, Saint Petersburg, Vologda and Novosibirsk), which have Investigative Committee’s cadet classes.
