In Murmansk Region, probe launched following preliminary check into overdue wages to over 300 workers of Murmashi construction site of ZAO Aerodromy Mosty Dorogi

Following the order of Chairman of the Investigative Committee, A. Bastrykin, the Murmansk Region authorities of the Investigative Committee have carried out a preliminary check into the failure of the management of ZAO Aerodromy Mosty Dorogy (AMD) (Airfields Bridges Roads) to pay wages to its workers. Based on the results of the check, the investigation has been opened into a crime under Part 2 of Article 145.1 of the RF Penal Code (Nonpayment of salaries for over two months).

According to investigators, over 300 workers of the Murmashi construction site of ZAO AMD employed to construct a runway at a military airfield near Severomorsk and a number of other large construction sites were paid wages since October 2015 to January 2016.

At present investigative and search operations are underway to find out all the details of the incident, Measures are being taken to count the damage and identify the victims. The investigation is ongoing.
