The Kirov Region authorities of the Investigative Committee continue investigating a criminal case over plotting a contract murder of a businessman from one of the regions of Russia (Part 3 of Article 33, Part 1 of Article 30, Part 2, item “h” of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code).

According to the investigation, the suspects, the owner of a large network of department stores in Moscow and Tula Regions and a subordinate of his, plotted an attempted murder of the competitor, businessman from Tula Region Anton Belobragin. They found the killer in Kirov Region, gave him the information about the victim and part of the fee for the murder.

The suspects were detained during investigative and search operations. At present, they are expecting charges and custodial restraints. Investigative activities are underway to find out all the details of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
