The Moscow Region Directorate of the Investigative Committee has opened a criminal investigation in a crime under Part 2, item “f” of Article 117 of the RF Penal Code (torture) following a check into media reports about beating of a 15-year-old schoolgirl.

According to investigators, on 13 June 2016, some schoolgirls got a conflict in the town of Korolyov. During the row two of the girls beat the third one, while others were watching and filming the fight on their cell phone cameras.

According to a medical certificate the schoolgirl suffered bruises. The investigators are planning to run some interviews and other investigative operations. The investigation is continued.
