Acting chancellor of Moscow Academy of Investigative Committee meets cadets

Acting Chancellor of the Moscow Academy of the RF Investigative Committee Anatoly Bagmet has met with 10-11grade cadets at the Alexander Nevsky Cadet School of the Investigative Committee for developing vocational guidance and cooperation. Such meetings raise interest among young people to service in the Investigative Committee and aim at building a reserve of employees of the Academy.

The cadets learnt about Academy’s history and structure and that more than 10,000 students of various categories had upgraded their professional skills at the Academy (which used to be an institute). They got full information on the structure which includes the law institute, the professional development institute and Forensics Research Institute, and on the opportunity to study in other cities – Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Done, Khabarovsk which have Academy’s branches and in Saint Petersburg, the location of another Academy of the Investigative Committee.

Important aspects of psychological training of future investigators and the necessity for them to have high moral qualities were also discussed at the meeting.

Attention was paid to the significance of forensics in the investigative work for looking into and solving crimes, to studying the general law theory and its separate branches: the Law of the Constitution, criminal, criminal procedure law and others.

The cadets asked questions including those regarding the entrance to and studying at the Academy, outlooks after the graduation, possibilities of participating in sports and cultural events and other aspects and got exhaustive answers.
