On 24 April 2017 a hand grenade went off in a computer sciences class of a school, located in the settlement of Agvali, Tsumadinsky District, Dagestan. According to current data, 11 children got injured, one child died at the scene. The Dagestan Republic Office of the Investigative Committee has launched a probe in infliction of death by negligence and illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, or bearing of explosives or explosive devices under Part 1 of Article 109 and Part 1 of Article 222.1 of the RF Penal Code.
