Within the framework of development of international cooperation in the field of forensic science services, the delegation of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation visited the Forensic Science Institute of the Federal Criminal Police Office in Germany in order to study modern expert techniques and equipment for examination of objects of various types.

During the visit to the Forensic Science Institute of the Federal Criminal Police Office of the Federal Republic of Germany, German investigators showed their colleagues from the Investigative Committees of Russia the laboratories and equipment they use for physical and chemical and DNA examinations, examination of objects containing digital information (different types of computer devices), and shared examination techniques used by German experts.

The parties acknowledged the high level of expertise and competence of each other and expressed interest in continued interaction in the field.
