The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin held a video-conference reception of citizens. It was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Eduard Kaburneev, heads of divisions of the Central Office of the Committee and heads and officers of a number of regional investigative departments. During the reception, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia again heard the citizens from among the defrauded shared construction participants from the Moscow Region, as well as the victims in the criminal case into the incident in the educational institution "Gymnasium No. 175" in Kazan.

The applicants from the Moscow Region - participants in the shared construction of the Pushkar residential complex, whose houses have not yet been commissioned, although it was planned to do so in 2018 - again applied to Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin. The above citizens have already been at a personal reception by the head of the IC of Russia on August 11, 2021. Then he criticized the work of his subordinates and appointed an official assessment into the head of the investigative department for the city of Pushkino, Sergei Anatolyevich Pyatov. Today, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia heard a report from his subordinates about the work carried out by the investigators during this time, the mechanisms being implemented to protect the rights of affected citizens and the organization, in accordance with the established procedure, of financing unfinished construction projects on the territory of the Moscow Region. He also addressed the victims themselves, inquired about the pace of progress in resolving their housing issue. The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia was again dissatisfied with the work of his subordinates in the Moscow region and demanded that they provide a detailed plan of work to resolve the situation as soon as possible.

Upon instruction of Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, in the conversation with the relatives of those killed and injured as a result of the attack on May 11 of this year on the Kazan gymnasium the head of the investigation team informed those present about the latest results of the investigation. Upon the report the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia gave a number of specific instructions. A large layer of issues was related to social support for the families of the dead and injured. Thus, at present, two children are being treated at the Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology of Leonid Mikhailovich Roshal in Moscow, with which the Investigative Committee of Russia has an agreement on cooperation in providing assistance to children who have suffered from criminal acts. The parents expressed their deep gratitude to the head of the department for assistance in organizing the treatment of their injured children at the Roshal Research Institute, and to the doctors of the medical institution for their qualified assistance. Also, Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin heard specific questions from citizens regarding social benefits, assistance in improving housing conditions, further rehabilitation of children and a number of other subjects. In conclusion of the conversation, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the leadership of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan to rework the mechanism for solving the problems of the people present at the reception and promptly provide specific proposals. In addition, he instructed the heads of the specialized divisions of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia, including the Information Center, to quickly establish contact with the victims so that their requests and appeals receive a timely response. It was instructed to prepare a number of appeals to specialized services, including the Pension Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan on a number of issues voiced by the victims.

At the end of the personal reception, Alexander Bastrykin expressed his readiness to meet with the applicants in the near future to make further decisions in order to resolve their difficult life situations.
