The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia gives instructions with reference to media reports

In connection with the appeals published in social networks, including those addressed to the Investigative Committee of Russia, with a request to pay attention to the situation with defrauded shareholders and citizens waiting for resettlement from emergency housing in the Sergiev Posad municipal district of Moscow region, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Moscow Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Starikov A.Yu. to find out all the circumstances and submit a detailed report on the situation. The results of the investigation are to be supervised by the Central Office of the Committee.

In addition, in connection with the request of Vitaly Milonov, a member of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, to check the publication of one of the mass media in which, in his opinion, there is deliberately false information about the activities of the USSR during World War II, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed his subordinates to study the arguments indicated in the request and to provide an appropriate assessment of the facts presented in the publication.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia also instructed to organize a personal video-conference meeting with a relative of a young disabled girl from Sakhalin Oblast, who expressed her dissatisfaction with the course of the criminal investigation. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin requested a report from the head of the Sakhalin Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia B.B. Bazarov on the results of investigation of criminal case based on the offense under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia for providing medical services which did not meet safety requirements to a woman and her born daughter by the staff of State medical institution "City maternity hospital of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk".

An investigative film about the problems of orphans appeared on federal television. The story notes that after graduation from orphanages - many of them lose their homes because of the activities of black real estate agents. The material provides a number of examples of fraudulent actions against former residents of social institutions from the Samara region. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Samara region M.F. Galihanov to report on investigated criminal cases and the results of work on protection of housing rights of orphans and children left without parental care in the region. In addition, Alexander Bastrykin requested a report on the investigated cases in this category from the direction of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia, whose investigators are also investigating a number of criminal cases based on the facts presented in the film.
