A law program aired on a federal TV channel criticized the criminal investigation into the murder of two men whose bodies were found in a car stopped by traffic police in the Tula region in June of this year. Despite the fact that previously a 44-year-old man had been previously detained and charged under Paragraph A of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of Russia (murder of two persons), the relatives of the victims do not agree with the position of the investigators and the progress of the investigation. Together with journalists, they publicly appeal to the leadership of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation with a request to supervise further progress in the investigation of the criminal case.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed the head of the Tula Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia to report on the investigative actions carried out under this probe. The progress and the results of the investigation are to be supervised personally be the head of the Committee.

Today the regional investigative department of the investigative committee of Russia launched a probe under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia; persons involved in the committed offense have been detained. The progress of investigation is under the supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
