The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia ordered to report on the measures taken by the investigation to restore the violated rights of children with disabilities in the Republic of Bashkortostan

The media published a video message from parents of disabled children in the Republic of Bashkortostan asking for help in obtaining apartments. Citizens say that for years they have been unable to receive the housing they are legally entitled to. The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Bashkortostan is investigating a criminal case under Article 293 of the Criminal Code (negligence). According to investigators, three families were repeatedly accepted by the leadership of the territorial division of the Investigative Committee of Russia - the citizens were dissatisfied with the quality and location of the housing offered to them. Agreements have already been reached with some of them to obtain apartments.  In the criminal case, construction-technical examinations have been appointed and are being conducted on all other premises that have been given out this year. The investigation is currently ongoing.

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed the Head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Bashkortostan D.N. Cherniyayev to report on the progress of the criminal investigation in light of the arguments reported by complainants and on the measures taken by the investigation to restore the violated rights of citizens.

The progress of investigation of the probe is under the supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
