The Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructed the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Khabarovsk Territory and the Jewish Autonomous Region Dolgalev E.G. to report on the progress of the investigation of the probe into the death of a teenager in Komsomolsk-on-Amur school under Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of severe health damage entailing by negligence death), Part 2 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code (negligence).

According to investigators, the schoolboy's death was the result of a conflict with another student on the premises of the school. Investigators appointed the necessary forensic examinations, questioned students and the school administration, conducted other investigative and procedural actions aimed at a comprehensive establishment of the circumstances of the incident.

The Head of the Investigative Committee instructed the investigation to find out the reasons that contributed to the crimes that led to the death of the teenager.

In addition, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Smolensk Regional Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia A. Ukhanov to report on the initial results of the probe into the attempted murder of a married couple organized by their daughter (Part 3 of Article 30, Paragraphs A, G of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code).

According to investigators, conflict occurred in the village of Verkhnedneprovsky in Dorogobuzhsky district between a 14-year-old girl and her parents on December 2 of this year. The minor called her acquaintance, who lives in Desnogorsk, and complained about her mother and stepfather. He, in turn, asked his underage acquaintances to help the girl leave home. The teenagers entered the apartment where the minor lived in the early morning and stabbed the owner of the apartment multiple times and also stabbed his wife. The victims were hospitalized in a medical facility, where they received the necessary medical care. All persons involved in the commission of this crime have been detained and are currently being investigated.
