Chairman of the IC of Russia Instructs Subordinates to Check Calls for Violence Against Russian Military, Expressed by Ukrainian Journalist Dmitry Gordon

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation to organize a procedural check against Ukrainian TV presenter Dmitry Gordon, who publicly called for violence against the Russian military.

On March 16, an interview with Gordon was broadcast by the Ukraina 24 TV channel, in which he called for violence against the Russian authorities and servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Also, in his earlier address, the Ukrainian journalist called for using nuclear weapons against the Russian Federation.

During the procedural check, the investigators will take the necessary measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the abovementioned incidents. Based on the procedural check results, the issue of initiating a criminal case will be resolved.
