Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to investigate the shelling of refugees by the Ukrainian military in the Kharkov oblast

Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed to investigate the shelling of the convoy of cars of civilians who were trying to evacuate themselves from the Lugansk People’s Republic by the military forces of Ukraine.

According to the information of the General Prosecutor's Office of the LPR, in the Kharkov oblast, the convoy of cars with refugees from the LPR, suffered the mortar shelling from the Ukranian Armed Force. As a result, two civilians died, three were injured by varying severity.

The head of the Committee instructed the investigators in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement between the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and the Prosecutor General's Office of the Lugansk People's Republic to investigate this crime and to establish all those involved for the further prosecution.
