The Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched two more criminal cases for the massed shelling done by the Ukraine Military Forces towards the settlements of LPR and DPR, the shelling led to the death, injury of people and to the infrastructural damage, in accordance with the Part1 Art. 356 of the Criminal Code of The RF (ill-treatment of civilians;  use of Banned Means and Methods of Warfare).

According to investigators, from April 15 to 16, 2022, the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other Ukrainian military formations produced massive targeted artillery and mortar shelling from the severe types of the weapons, having high striking properties, towards the civil infrastructure facilities in Pervomaisk and Rubezhnoye cities of the Severodonetsky rayon, as well as towards the settlements of Donetsk in Kirovsky rayon and Kalinovo-Popasnyansky rayon of the Lugansk People's Republic.

As a result of the shelling in Rubezhnoye, three civilians were injured, including a minor child, date of birth: 2005. The hospital, the kindergarten and the school buildings received damage in Pervomaisk, as well as the residential buildings and infrastructural facilities were damaged in the Donetskiy settlement.

Also, under the similar circumstances, the civil infrastructure facilities received damage in Donetsk, Gorlovka, Mariupol and Yasinovaya. Another 14 peaceful residents applied to the medical institutions of the Donetsk People's Republic for medical care, they were injured in varying severity as a result of the shelling of the city of Mariupol, including the minor born on 2011. One woman died.

The Investigative Committee will continue to work on documenting all the crimes of the Kiev regime. All persons who committed these crimes will be established and prosecuted.
