The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to launch a criminal investigation on the shelling of Kursk oblast

Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, instructed to open launch a criminal investigation over the shelling of the Kursk oblast territory committed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is reported that the Krasnooktyabrsky border settlement was attacked. Civilians were not injured, but the building of the former school was badly damaged. There is also damage to a three-story residential building. Serious damage was caused to the transformer substation, so part of the settlement was not only without electricity, but also without water due to that.

Within the criminal investigation, investigators of the Russian Investigative Committee will give a legal assessment of the crime and identify the persons involved in it.
