The progress of the inspection for violation of the rights of a labor veteran in Volgograd Oblast is a subject to control of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia

A TV report on a Federal TV channel told that in Volgograd a 90-year-old retirement pensioner was threatened by his neighbors. Police Officers are inactive as it was reported. The reporters also mention that the house where the elderly man lives is recognized as emergency, but local authorities do not resolve the issue of resettlement of the labor veteran. This information is verified by the Investigating Authorities of the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Federation for Volgograd Oblast within a procedural inspection.

Mr. A.I. Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed Mr. V.I. Semenov, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Volgograd Oblast, to report on the situation, making the progress of the inspection and its results a subject to control in the Main Investigative Directorate of the Department.
