The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to submit a report on the progress of the inspection on cruelty to animals in Sevastopol

The Main Investigation Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the Sevastopol City is conducting a procedural inspection on the information published in the media about cruelty to animals in the Sevastopol city.

Earlier it was reported that on November 2 of this year on the beach "Aquamarine" in the area of ​​"Victory Park" the Director of a private dolphinarium released four dolphins into the sea, not adapted to the wild habitat. Despite the measures taken by experts, the search for animals in the sea has not yielded any results and it will continue.

Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed Mr. V.N. Terentyev, Head of the Main Investigative Directorate for the Republic of Crimea and the Sevastopol city to report on the procedural inspection and the established circumstances of the incident. The inspection is a subject to control in the Main Investigative Directorate of the Department.
