One of the regional media publishes information that mother of a deceased 1st year Student of one of the Colleges in the Engels raions claims fabrication of files related to the criminal investigation and she criticizes the actions of the Investigator in charge of the criminal case launched on the death of her son. An official inspection was conducted against the Investigator, the criminal case was transferred to another Investigator for further proceeding. In addition, a repeated procedural inspection was initiated based on the arguments voiced by the woman.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia made the investigation a subject to control in the Main Directorate of the Department.

The Head of the Investigative Committee instructed Mr. A.Yu. Govorunov, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Saratov Oblast, to submit a report on the progress of the criminal investigation as well as on the results of an internal inspection against the Investigator. In addition, the Chairman instructed to transfer the files of the inspection based on the new arguments of the Applicant to the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the further revisal.
