On June 7, 2024, armed forces of Ukraine shelled the village of Sadovoe in the Goloprystansky Municipal District, which destroyed a local store. At the time of the terrorist attack, a significant number of customers and staff were in the store. According to current information, as a result of this inhumane and deliberate attack on a civilian infrastructure facility, 22 civilians were killed, and 15 people were injured.

The head of the department instructed the leadership of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia, as part of the investigation of the criminal case under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the RF (terrorist act), to promptly identify by name all persons who knowingly gave a criminal order for the terrorist attack on a civilian facility and those who carried it out.

All those involved in this brutal crime, including those from Ukraine's military-political leadership, will be prosecuted and will be punished.
