The General Investigative Office of the Investigative Committee for the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts continues criminal investigation into the murder of 12 people on Nov. 5 in the village Kushchevskaya. On suspicion of committing this crime residents of the village Kushchevskaya Aleksey Gurov, born in 1986, his brother Evgeniy, born in 1990, and Vyacheslav Skachedub, born in 1993 have been arrested. 

At the time of arrest suspects behaved aggressively, but offered no serious resistance because the operation had been carefully prepared and carried out professionally by investigators of the Investigation Committee in conjunction with the field officers of the Chief Department of Internal Affairs in Krasnodar Territory.

During the search of places of residence or stay of the detainees drugs and evidence that might indicate the involvement of suspects in the crime have been found. The found materials were subjected and currently are under a series of examinations that can procedurally confirm the involvement of the detainees in the crime. Identification and active search for accomplices in the crime are continued. The investigative team will make every effort to ensure arrest and prosecution of all accomplices in this cruel and cynical crime.
