Officials of Far Eastern Transport Investigations Directorate help sick children

The International Children’s Day is one of the oldest international holidays. The decision to celebrate the Day was made in 1925 by the World Conference for the wellbeing of children held in Geneva. The holiday has its flag - human figures, representing diversity and tolerance, around the sign of Earth against a green background, symbolizing growth, harmony, freshness and fertility. The sign of Earth in the center is a symbol of our common world.

But the Children’s Day is not only a merry holiday for children, but also a reminder to the society that it is necessary to protect children so that all of them grow up healthy, happy, study and have their favorite hobbies and become outstanding citizens of their country.

For several years the Primorye Transport Investigations Office of the Far Eastern Transport Investigations Directorate has been providing charitable aid to sick children.

On the eve of the holiday its officials visited territorial children’s clinical hospital No 2 in Vladivostok and helped to get necessary medications for the children there.
